Purification of plant derived compounds
Plants are the natural source of multiple active compounds. These compounds have various applications. Ginseng, for example, is an important medicinal plant in Asia, from which the derived ginsenosides are often used in the medical, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.
Mydisun, together with its business partner, successfully developed and optimized the purification techniques for plant derived metabolites. One method was aimed at purifying ginsenoside Re from the crude ginseng extracts. Based on this method, Re with a purity higher than 98% can be produced efficiently.
